Bank customers will now have to pay a charge for depositing and withdrawing money more than the prescribed limit

Withdrawals up to 3 times the amount will be free for the savings account holder. There will be an extra charge of Rs 125 when you withdraw money from the fourth time




Bank of Baroda is going to change the rules of transaction from November 1. These changes will apply to cash deposit and withdrawal services linked to the bank's current account, overdraft account, cash credit account, savings account and other accounts. You will now have to pay a fee to withdraw or deposit more than 3 times. Find out in the area about these new rules, effective November 1.


New rules for cash deposits

From November 1, the cash handling charge for other accounts, including current account, overdraft or cash credit, will be Rs 1,000 per month for depositing more than Rs 1 lakh per account. The charge will be a minimum of Rs 50 and a maximum of Rs 20,000. In case of other accounts including current account, overdraft and cash credit, no change has been made in the cash handling charge. The charge is Rs 2.50 per Rs 1,000 on a cash deposit of more than Rs 25,000 per account.


Rules for depositing money in a savings account

After depositing cash 3 times in current savings account in Metro-Urban branch (including transaction through other means) a charge of Rs 50 will be levied for the fourth time each time. In case of Savings Account, Pensioner Account and Senior Citizen Account (excluding Basic Savings Bank Deposit / Financial Inclusion Account) of Rural or Semi-Urban Branch Will be charged. At present there is no charge for cash deposit 5 times a month.

There is also a charge for cash withdrawals

No money will be charged from the customer if the money is withdrawn 3 times a month from the current account, overdraft or CC. For the fourth withdrawal, Rs 150 will be charged on each withdrawal. Withdrawals up to three times will be free for people with a savings account. There will be a charge of Rs 125 each time you withdraw money for the fourth time.

Withdrawals can be made 3 times a month from November 1 through Savings Account, Pensioner Account and Senior Citizen Account (excluding Basic Savings Bank Deposit Financial Inclusion Accounts) of Rural or Semi Urban Branch. Thereafter, a charge of Rs 100 per transaction will be levied from the fourth time. The account holder will be able to withdraw a maximum of Rs 50,000 in a day for each type of account at the outstation branch.
