Complete these 10 important tasks by March 31, including Aadhaar-Pan link and tax saving investment

Complete these 10 important tasks by March 31, including Aadhaar-Pan link and tax saving investment

1. Linking the base page

The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar is March 31. If you do not link your page to Aadhaar by March 31, it will become inactive. If a person does not have an active page number, the bank will deduct TDS at the rate of 20% on your income.

2. File a Late or Revised Return

The last date for filing billed or revised Incometax Return (ITR) for 2019-20 is also 31st March. Billed returns are filed after the original deadline for filing returns for a financial year has passed. For this the taxpayer has to pay a penalty of Rs. 10,000.

Revised returns are filed when an error occurs while filing the original return. Billed ITR is filed under Section 139 (4) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and Revised ITR is filed under Section 139 (5). The billed return has to be filed before 31st March 2021 with a late filing fee of Rs.

3. Book profit from stocks and equity funds

Long-term capital gains over Rs 1 lakh on stocks and equity oriented funds are now taxable. If you have made long term capital gain then Rs. Tax exemption can be availed on long term capital gains up to Rs 1 lakh. Book a profit before March 31 to take advantage of the tax deduction.

For that, you should sell as many stocks and equity funds as you can before March 31 to get a profit of up to Rs 1 lakh. Then reinvest the same money in the next financial year. However in the process of buying and selling you have to pay 1% to the brokerage house. Mutual fund investors do not have to pay this amount, as entry loads are not levied and the entry load does not apply when the funds are sold after one year.

4. Investment to get income tax exemption

If you are planning to invest to avail income tax exemption, you have to invest till March 31. Investments made under several sections of the Income-tax Act, such as 80C and 80D, are tax-exempt. Under Section 80C of the Income-tax Act, tax exemption is available on investments up to Rs 1.5 lakh.

5. KYC of bank and demat account

Demat and bank account holders will have to update KYC by March 31, 2022. Under KYC, the bank asks customers to update their PAN card, address, such as Aadhaar, passport etc. Also requested is a recent photograph and other information. As a rule, your bank account may be closed if you do not update your KYC.

If your demat account does not have KYC, it will be deactivated. This will prevent you from trading in the stock market. Even if a person buys shares of a company, these shares cannot be transferred to the account. This will happen after the KYC process is completed and verified.

6. Deposit minimum amount in PPF, NPS and Sukanya accounts

If you have a Public Provident Fund (PPF), National Pension Scheme (NPS) and Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana (SSY) account, but have not invested in it this financial year, you need to deposit some amount in it to keep the account active. These accounts will become inactive if money is not deposited in PPF and NPS. If you do not deposit the required minimum amount, you will have to pay a penalty to reactivate it.

7. Linking bank account with small savings plans

If you run small savings schemes like Time Deposit, Senior Citizen Savings Scheme or Monthly Scheme at Post Office, you must link these accounts with the bank's Savings Account or Post Office Savings Account by March. From April 1, the money for these schemes will be available in the savings account only. You cannot go to the post office and take interest money in cash. Interest linked money will be transferred electronically upon linking to a savings account.

8. e-kyc for PM Kisan Yojana

Farmers who are availing the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana are required to undergo KYC by March 31. You can also do e-kyc if you wish. Farmers who have not done KYC in PM Kisan account after March 31 will not get Rs 2,000 from Government of India.

9. Submit Form 12B

If you have changed jobs after April 1, 2021, report the TDS deducted from the previous job to the new company through Form 12B. If you do not submit Form 12B by March 31, the company may deduct more TDS, which will be to your detriment.

10. Apply in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a new scheme launched by the Government of India to provide affordable housing to the people. The benefit of this scheme can be availed till March 31. Under the scheme, credit linked subsidy is given to first time home buyers. Up to a maximum of Rs 2.67 lakh. Different subsidies are given to different income classes.

Before doing FD, keep in mind 6 things including its duration and the tax levied on it

Before doing FD, keep in mind 6 things including its duration and the tax levied on it

Fixed deposit i.e. FD is considered to be a good investment tool as it is safe and gives a fixed return, but it is also not advisable to invest in FD without thinking. There are a number of requirements to consider when making an FD, including its duration and the penalty for breaking the FD. Today we are going to tell you about 6 such things ...

It is necessary to choose the right tenor

Before investing in FD, it is important to think about its tenure. This is because if the investor withdraws before maturity, he will have to pay a penalty. FD will have to pay a penalty of up to 1% for breaking it before it matures. This can reduce the total interest earned on the deposit.

Not investing all the money in one FD

If you are thinking of investing Rs 10 lakh in FD in one bank, instead invest in 8 FDs of Rs 1 lakh and 4 FDs of Rs 50,000 in more than one bank. In the meantime, if you need money, you can manage the money by breaking 8 FDs in the middle according to your need. Your second FD will be safe.

વોર્ડવાઈઝ ઉમેદવાર અને સરપંચના ઉમેદવાર જોવા માટે અહિ કલીક કરો

Interest earned on FDs is taxable

Interest received from your FD is taxable as per the Income Tax Slab. If the interest earned on FD is above Rs.10,000 in a financial year, a TDS deduction is levied on it. It will be 10% of the total interest earned. The limit for senior citizens is 50 thousand. If your income is less than the taxable range, you can submit Form 15G and Form 15H to the bank for non-payment of TDS on FD.

Withdrawal of interest

The bank had the option to withdraw interest on a first quarter and annual basis. Monthly withdrawals can now be made at some banks. You can choose it according to your need.

Penalty will be given for breaking FD ahead of time

If you break the FD ahead of time, you will not get interest at the rate at which you opened the FD. For example, you get 6% interest per annum on FD of 1 lakh, but if you break it after 6 months, you get only 5% annual interest on 6 months FD, in which case the bank will pay interest at 5% on your money, 6% Will not pay interest.

According to the rules of SBI, the country's largest bank, if a person gets an FD of up to Rs 5 lakh, he will have to pay a penalty of up to 0.50 per cent for breaking the FD before it matures. Thus on FDs above Rs 5 lakh and less than Rs 1 crore, 1 per cent penalty has to be paid on premature break. After fixing the interest for the period, you are paid by deducting 0.50 per cent or 1 per cent interest on the amount of FD. Most banks charge a penalty of up to 1 percent.

Loans can be taken on FD

You can also take a loan on your FD. Under this you can take a loan up to 90% of the value of FD. Suppose your FD is worth Rs 1.5 lakh then you can get a loan of Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand. If you take a loan on FD, you will have to pay 1-2% more interest than the interest earned on a fixed deposit. For example, if you are getting 4% interest on your FD, you can get a loan at an interest rate of 5 to 6%.

COVID Certificate is the official app for storing and presenting Swiss COVID certificates. It is developed by the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication FOITT on behalf of the Federal Office of Public Health.

In Switzerland, people who have been vaccinated, or who have tested negative or recovered from COVID can apply for a COVID certificate.

COVID certificates are issued in hard copy or electronic format serve as proof of:

1. Vaccination against COVID-19
2. Recovery from Sars-CoV-2 infection
3. A negative result following Sars-CoV-2 test analysis

How the app works

When the app is first launched after installation on the mobile device, a brief introduction provides information on how to use it and how to scan a hard-copy COVID certificate.

In the app, the required COVID certificate can be selected, and presented if desired. The app shows whether, from when and for how long the COVID certificate is valid. All data contained in a certificate's QR code can also be displayed.

It is possible to store several COVID certificates in the app, e.g. for family members, or several COVID test certificates.

Use of the COVID Certificate app is voluntary and free of charge.

Check a COVID certificate yourself

You can use the app to check a saved COVID certificate yourself. This verification process checks the electronic signature of the certificate and compares the certificate's validity period with the current date. These are the same checks that are used for the verification of certificates in the COVID Certificate Check app.

Background

As we achieved our independence, our visionary leaders saw the centrality of a powerful navy and set us on the right path by envisioning an Indian navy focused on aircraft carriers for sea control in our vast areas of maritime interest. INS Vikrant, India's first aircraft carrier was acquired from Great Britain and launched on 04 March 1961. The INS Vikrant Majestic was a carrier of the Catatubar (Catapult Assisted Take Off but Return of Arrest) and operated Sea Hawk Fighters, Allied (Anti-Submarine Warfare) aircraft and Helicopter Search. Consistent with his vision, India got ahead of HMS Hermes, a Centaur class STOVL carrier and P te victims of the Falklands War. INS Virat was commissioned on 12 May 1987 as India's first STOVL carrier to operate India's second aircraft carrier and Sea Harrier aircraft. Immediately after the acquisition of INS Virat, INS Vikrant was also switched from October Carrier to STOVL (Short Take-and-F and Vertical Landing) carriers. INS Vikrant was revoked in 1997 after 36 years of proud service under Indian authorities. There have been two aircraft carriers in India for almost a decade and the Indian Navy was fully aware of the criticism that aircraft carriers were available for deployment at every coast to fulfill the assigned tasks of the Navy. Recognizing the importance of aircraft carriers, the Indian Navy has already begun exploring the possibility of designing and building indigenously aircraft carriers, a project that rightly began in the late 90's with the idea of an air defense ship. However, given the long gestation period of such projects, INS. The search for a replacement for Vikrant gained momentum as his disposal approached.

It was at this time that Russia offered Admiral Gorshkov to the Indian Navy. Negotiations to acquire 44,500,000 tons of Admiral Gorshkov began in 1994. Various high-level delegates who evaluated the ship independently concluded that the ship's hull was in good material condition and the appropriate combination of aircraft would be worth considering for exploitation in the Indian Navy. .

Signing the contract

After detailed talks, the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding in December 1998 during a visit by Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov. The international agreement, which included the acquisition of Project 11430 (Admiral Gorshkov), was signed on 04 October 2000 between the Russian Federation and the Center of the Government of India. After detailed project development review, contract negotiations and subsequent price negotiations, the government approved on 17 January 04 Rs. Acquisition at a cost of Rs.4881.67 crore. The deals were signed on 20 January 04 and the effective date of the agreement was established as 24 February 04. The R&R of the ship started from 09 April 04.

The repair and refit was being carried out by FSUE Sevamash, a state-owned shipyard in Severodvinsk, Russia. R&R was to be completed within 52 months. Although the renovation process was started with a decent bounty, it was soon realized that the required work and equipment in return was significantly higher than the original estimate. The full length of the cable, large parts of the steel hull, motors, turbines and boilers, etc. will have to be completely replaced as a result of cost change and slippage over time.

INS VIKRAMADITYA નો વિડીયો અહીંથી જુઓ

A lengthy re-negotiation was held in the coming months to reach a mutually acceptable price for the renovation. Finally, in December 2009, the Indian and Russian parties reached an agreement on the final cost of delivery of the ship. More significantly, it was agreed that the ship would be delivered only in 2012. Although the cost of renegotiating was significantly higher than originally agreed, Gorshkov's addition would add to the blue water. Indian naval requirements compensated for the higher cost.

New incarnation 'Vikramaditya'

An aircraft carrier carrying powerful long-range multi-role fighters is an inherently designed platform for power launches. Just as Gorshkov was transformed into Vikramaditya, so will Vikramaditya be the face of the Indian Navy's Fleet Air Arm.

  • STOBAR CARRIER
  • Displacement: 44,500 t
  • Length OA: 284 m
  • Maximum beam: 60 m
  • Speed: more than 30 ktss
  • 04 Propellers
  • Powered by 08 boilers,
  • Aircraft components: MiG-29K, Kamov-31, Kamov-28, Seeking, ALH, Chetak

The length of the developed airfield Vikramaditya is about 284 meters and the maximum beam is about 60 meters, in which three football fields are stretched together. From the height of about 20 storeys to the highest point, the sharp view of this 44,500 ton mega structure is breathtaking. The ship has a total of 22 decks.

With more than 1,600 departures in the morning, Vikramaditya is literally a 'floating city'. This is a huge logistics requirement associated with a large population - about a million eggs, 20,000 liters of milk and 16 tons of rice per month. With a full stock of its provisions, it is able to sustain itself at sea for about 45 days. With a capacity of 8,000 tons LSHSD, it is capable of operation up to a range of 7,000 nautical miles or 13,000 km.

Preparing for sea tests

To enable the city to cut 44,500,000 tons of floating steel at speeds of up to 30 knots, it is powered by 64 new generation boilers with a steam capacity of 100 VSPH, generating a total output power. 180,000 SHP. Vikramaditya will join the new generation of boiler technology with a very high level of automation. These high pressure and highly efficient boilers power four formidable propellers, each larger in diameter than the height of each male. Four such propeller-four shaft configurations are the second first in the Indian Navy.

06 turbo alternators and 06 diesel alternators generate a total of 18 MW of electricity to power the various devices of the ship, which is enough to meet the lighting requirement of the Mini City. The ship also has 02 reverse osmosis plants that provide an uninterrupted supply of 400 tons of fresh water per day.

Extensive improvements to sensors, including long-range air surveillance radars, advanced electronic warfare suits, enable the ship to maintain a surveillance bubble of more than 500 kilometers around the ship.

The ship has the capacity to carry more than 30 aircraft including MiG-29K / C Harrier, Kamov 31, Kamov 28, Sea King, ALH-Dhruv and Chetak helicopters. The MiG-29K swing roll fighter is the main offensive platform and provides a quantum jump to the Indian Navy's maritime strike capability. This fourth-generation Air Excellence fighters provide the Indian Navy with a range of over 700 nm (can be increased from 1,900 nm with inflight refueling) and a range of weapons, including anti-ship missiles, with a visual range beyond the air. Missiles, guided bombs and rockets.

Extended flight deck at night

The ship is equipped with state-of-the-art launch and recovery system for easy and efficient operation of the aircraft carrier. Major systems include Luna Landing System for Mig, DAPS Landing System for Sea Harriers and Flight Deck Lighting Systems.

At the heart of the operational operational network that brings life to ship-based combat systems is the computer-aided Action Information Organization (CAIO) system, Lesorb-E. Lesorb has the ability to collect data from the ship's sensors and data links and to process, collate and assemble a wide range of strategic images. This state of the art system is designed keeping in mind the essential requirements of the conductor for fighter control and direction.

One of the most popular devices equipped with a superstructure is the Resistor-E radar complex. Resistor-E is an automated system designed to provide short-range navigation for vehicle transaction control, orientation / landing and ship carrying aircraft. The complex, along with its various subsystems, provides navigation and flight data to carry a wide range of operated vessels from the mother ship. The accuracy approach guidance system assists fighters on the approach to direct a short distance of 30 meters from the flight deck. Vikramaditya also prides itself on the state-of-the-art communication complex CCS MK II to meet its external communication needs. The installation of the Link II technical data system allows it to be fully integrated with the Indian Navy's network-centric operations.
